About

Harley Walker played multiple roles in my production of "Avenue Q". From the very first rehearsal to the very last performance she continued to amaze me. Each time she took the stage she added new colors to her characters. A wonderful singer and a natural puppeteer she is simply put, a joy to work with. Such a find. I would highly recommend Harley to anyone in need of a true talented  professional.

- Patrick Burke, Director of Avenue Q

"Harley is my favorite kind of actress: intuitive, intellectual, and such a natural presence on stage and on screen. Her performance in my film Snow Globes was absolutely stunning. Her ability to take what's on paper and create a dimensional, complex character is a director's dream come true. I can't express enough how talented and professional she is, and how collaborating with her is such a joy."

- Madeleine Hicks, Director of Snow Globes

"Harley evokes one thought in my mind and heart - JOY. As an actress, she is in touch with her instrument, is tenacious in her preparation, and is an excellent student of the craft. She possesses depth and poise under pressure and is loved by cast and crew alike. She has always done top notch work for us and is one of a few that I always try to figure out ways to work with."

Greg Wilson, Director: Actors Point Theatre Company

"Asute, confident, creative, disciplined, consistent, a delightful "no worries", low maintenance performer. Harley takes to direction like a fish to water. She brings her own rhythm and insight to a character while realizing a director's vision. Once the show opens, she is consistent in her energy, commitment, blocking, and discovery. She is a consummate ensemble player. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat."

Jette Halladay, Director of American Tall Tales

"Upon my return to Tennessee teaching and directing theatre at The Webb School, Harley Walker was the ideal first year student for a teacher at a new school. I was so blessed and impressed with her attendance in my speech class and in the theatre program. She literally became "the face of Webb" during her years as a high school theatre student. Whether performing on the high school stage or alongside professionals in The Tennessee Shakespeare Festival that, for a time, was held on our Webb campus. Later as an intern with Nashville Repertory Theatre, her work ethic and her performance were on par with seasoned professionals. Indeed, she graduated with our highest honor in theatre, the Joseph Peters Meersman Jr. Award, given to the student that has made a profound contribution to The Webb School's Fine Arts Theatre Program. Her talent is evident. Her professional work continues. I consider her a colleague and a friend."
